We have added support for on-chain bitcoin payments. This means that your customers can now use their on-chain wallets to make payments more quickly and easily. With this option, your customers have more flexibility and don't need to own a separate lightning wallet.

To use this payment method, simply create a checkout session, and a QR code will be generated. Your customer can then choose to pay using the lightning network or their on-chain wallet. They can choose to pay the full amount at once or partially, but the checkout session will only be marked as paid once the full amount has been paid. This provides a seamless experience for your customers, as they can see a list of all partial payments made using the on-chain method, along with the QR code for the remaining amount.

How does it work?

Step 1: Define the amount, payment method & currency while generating the checkout session.

Step 2: Share the QR code with your customer.

Step 3: Customer can choose to pay with a lightning network or on-chain wallet by swiping. We do not redirect them to a new link.

Step 4: Get paid in full or partial payments. The customer can see their history besides the QR code till they pay the entire amount.
